Summary: Cassidy is a crime reporter, Nicole is an FBI agent and Allison is a federal prosecutor. Together, they’re a Triple Threat to crime solving and justice… until a ruthless killer finds a way to isolate and murder one of the three. The remaining two survivors are determined to solve the crime and bring the killer to justice.
My Thoughts: If James Patterson died and was reincarnated as a woman, this is the book he would write, right down to having a co-author and the killing off of one of the characters. While this story is not terribly original, if you’re a fan of Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club series, as I am, you will enjoy this book, as I did, although I am taking off points for creativity. I thought the story was full of suspense and intrigue and I really enjoyed the mystery aspect. Although this is part of a series, and I had not read the other three first, I had no problems following along with this story. All in all, a good mystery read. I’d definitely read the rest of the series, and recommend this one.
My Rating: 4/5
