Summary: Heather Meadows lost the only love she’s ever known. Her perfect, yet ordinary life was turned upside down the day her 38-year-old husband died. Heather’s life becomes the subject of scrutiny and pity as she tries to pick up the pieces of her shattered world and raise her three children on her own. In the midst of suburbia and gossipy neighbors, Heather tries to rebuild a normal life. Little does she know she’s about to trip into a new adventure. Where will her misstep take her and how will Heather handle the prying eyes of those around her?
My Thoughts: This was a nice light modern romance book. Sometimes you just want a little fluff to read with a little bit of turmoil and excitement, but know it’s going to have a happy ending. Heather is a klutzy, likeable heroine and Peter is the perfect, handsome leading man. You will be pulling for them to fall and love and live happily ever after. I would recommend this if you are looking for something entertaining and enjoyable and not too intense. I would definitely read this author again.
My Rating: 3.5/5
