Happy Friday, everyone! We made it through another work week – woohoo! Anyway, here’s my five for the week!
ONE. First, I must start by wishing a happy 30th birthday today to my MUCH older and MUCH less attractive brother. Did you know that Cinco de Mayo was created in his honor? It’s true. Wait… what? #fakenews In all seriousness though, one thing that’s good about getting older is that we like each other more and more as the years pass. In other words, he doesn’t try to push me down the stairs in an office chair anymore (true story). We crack each other up and he made me an aunt by giving me two funny and wild little men for nephews.
TWO. Jerry and I have seen some great movies lately! I really liked Moana and Rings but I LOVED Passengers and Sing. Which of these have you seen?
THREE. Finally made the switch to Dish for TV! Time Warner sucked, and then they became Spectrum and sucked even more. We still have their internet (no choice) but so far I’m preferring Dish. They have much better customer service and bills that make actual sense. Also, my new DVR has 2 TB. My old DVR was constantly running out of room so score one for me! #DVRAddict. The final straw for me was when my phone app with Spectrum stopped working. Buh bye now!
FOUR. I saw Cabaret at the theater the other night! At first, I wasn’t a fan because it’s odd and really sexual, but then it grew on me as the production went on. I really liked it by the end and thought that the final scene was haunting but brilliant. Great music, great acting, great show!
FIVE. Tonight we’re going back to the water hotel park for an overnight with the family! We go a couple times a year when the hotel hosts a doll show (my mom is a collector) and the kids have a blast.
Hope you all have a great weekend! What are your plans?
